Supporting our home care clients when they need us most

Are you currently making an important care decision for your family member? We know that the pressure to make the ‘right choice’ is overwhelming and stressful. To make the process easier, we have created this Advice and Support section where you will find helpful information about the benefits and practicality of home care services (also known in the industry as ‘Domiciliary Care’)

While this section may answer some of your questions, you are sure to have more! We welcome you to call our office, speak to a friendly Aspire team member, and learn about how we could help you or your family member to live independently and happily at home.

FAQ’s about care at home

After more than 20 years in the care industry, we know that there is no place like home. While it may no longer be safe for your loved one to live alone at home, some extra support could allow them to stay in the comfort and familiarity of home. Remaining at home brings joy and fulfilment to our client’s lives, allowing them to stay in an environment they love. They also have more choice over what they do and when. For example, they can still determine their meal and rest times, and when they want to access their community.

Care at home can also prevent falls and hospitalisation. If your family member is currently living alone, sometimes even carrying out simple tasks can pose a danger, which in turn can become an injury risk. A support worker can help with all daily tasks at home and in the community, offering important assistance and reducing the risk to your loved one.

Aspire UK provide recognised training and qualifications to all staff. We are committed to remaining an industry leader and remain committed to providing ongoing training. We have staff specialised to assist clients with Dementia/Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, End of Life care, MND, MS and post-stroke recovery.

Additionally, we offer services to the elderly, people with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, learning disabilities and more. For all of our clients, we encourage independence and provided a tailored care and support program.

We offer flexible packages with different levels of support. If you or your family member requires 24/7 care, we would recommend a live-in care worker. If you are only looking for temporary help during the day to live independently, venture out into the community or need some help with personal care, we offer ‘help to live at home’ and ‘day services’. Whether you need support for one hour or 24 hours, we are available all day, seven days a week.

At Aspire UK, we are there for our clients when they need us most. We offer overnight and live-in services to accommodate people that need help during the night. Our sleeping and wake-in services provide peace of mind to families that their loved one is being cared for at night-time.
