Support / Care Workers

Aspire UK provide specialist and complex care services, which are person centred and nurse led to adults who may have conditions ranging from Acquired Brain Injury, Spinal Injuries or other progressive diseases such are Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Motor Neuron Disease (MND) AND Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

We are currently seeking Support / Care Workers to join our current established and expanding teams.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • You will support clients with all aspects of daily living, which will include personal care, respiratory care, therapies and medication administration.
  • Provide support in social activities and interests.
  • Accompany on hospital and other therapeutic appointments.
  • Socialising and maintaining friendships and relationships.
  • Increasing independence and autonomy.
  • Supporting and enabling to identify and achieve goals.
  • Assist with domestic duties including daily food preparation.

Applicants must have clear written and verbal communication skills, be friendly and upbeat with a great sense of humour.

Sometimes offering specialised and complex care, they make a significant contribution to their community, improving the lives of people who need assistance. All candidates are subject to an enhanced DBS check.

ABOUT YOU

You are an enthusiastic, reliable and caring person with a good attitude. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a desire to learn. You understand or have experience in care provision and are willing to undergo training. Please note, no prior experience is required for this role as we offer full training, support and mentoring.

Our QMO’s ensure the highest standard of care and support is being delivered at all times. They work closely with clients to develop and review tailored care plans, and confidently guide and support a group of Aspire’s care workers. They support the company by completing a range of managerial and organisational tasks and are rewarded with competitive benefits.

ABOUT YOU

You have hands-on care experience and possess good planning, organisational and interpersonal skills. You have access to your own car and potential supervision experience within the health and social care sector. You have obtained a QCF Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care and you have a working knowledge of domiciliary care.
